In universities, discipline plays a crucial role in ensuring a harmonious and disciplined learning environment. Students who violate regulations will face an investigation and hearing process conducted by an official committee appointed by the Board of Directors of Universiti Putra Malaysia, known as the Student Disciplinary Committee.

The First UPM Student Parliament Session 2025/2026 was held at the Senate Hall, officiated by Prof. Dr. Arifin Abdu. The session involved motions, debates and voting, strengthening democracy, leadership and student responsibility overall.
